The option to disable wdmcserver, wdphotodbmerger in Dashboard has been implemented in EX4

I was looking for a a good WD description of what wdmcserver actually does and then I found this

http://wstd.lithium.com/t5/Network-Product-Ideas/The-options-to-disable-the-convert-wdmcserver-wdphotodbmerger/idi-p/712550/page/5

The status says Implemented.

Hi Raphael,

It would seem that disabling DLNA and Cloud access will not let this 2 processes run anymore on the unit.

If you check on this link It specifies how this would work:

Not what I would expect… I still want my cloud access!!

I mean I want something like

disable wdmcserver

disable wdphotodbmerger

or

enable machine to run normally

disable machine entirely

on the dashboard would be nice

Thanks ArMak for checking up on that… I didn’t realize that there was a link and follow through on that topic. I just saw implemented and was gleefully posting it up on here thinking that it would come in the next firmware on the Cloud.
