The external hard disk is not recognised but shows in safety removal? how to fix this? can i get my data back?
Can you provide a screen grab of just the device removal options for your drive when it’s connected to your computer? I have a suspicion about what it may be, but I need to see what device removal options are presented to you.
Yes, I am having the same problem. It has been happening for a week. I have disconnected, rebooted, powered off, etc., several times, but cannot get my Elite Book to come back. It does show under the C drive, just not the G: drive where I used to access my files. It does, however, appear when I select to ‘disconnect’ the drive.
