I am unable to use my passport ultra external disk, when I connect to a system and I got " The disk is write protected " msg. Please provide any solution for this.

Are you trying to connect it to a PC or to a MAC?
Is it a new my passport or have you ever been able to use it before on that computer?
Can you please provided the model number of the passport?
