The default subtitle is off and stays off when you close the WD Live.!! Cannot remember this change …!! I change it to on and when I close the device and then reopen it , it goes to off again.!!!

Unfortunately, that is the default setup.
It may be a default for it to be off but surely it should remember the setting if you turn it on, otherwise its pointless having it in the settings.
