…for doing the right thing and standing behind your product. I received the replacement drive (for an overheating MyBook 500GB) last week. I verified and tested the replacement disk to my satisfaction.
This new(refurb) disk runs in the low 40C range when working hard. Intermittent usage keeps it in the mid 30C range. And that’s more like it! So it’s a good thing and bodes well for temperature related failures.
At this time I can continue to say decent things about the company when discussing recommendations professionally and in casual conversation.
To everyone: Backups are PARAMOUNT. This applies to any disk from any company.
