Terrible user and warranty experience

Just got off the phone with WD customer service. Had a terrible experience. I barely understood their english. I used my My Cloud device for less than 4 months and the hard drive failed. Lost all my data. Pictures from last 10 years. I then had to deal with terrible customer service reps which made be get off the phone with them to run diagnostics because they clearly didn’t want to deal with the outcome of it. After running diagnostics myself, I called back and after being on the phone for an hour and multiple waits, I was informed that WD does not cover shipping on warranty products and the guy simply told me to go to a UPS and pay for it.

Overall, terrible customer service, cheap CR experience. I have never dealt with such terrible service with any products in the past, let alone a retail experience, but after providing a failed product and ruining their customer’s valuable data, is too cheap to provide a seemless solution.
