From the arkeia gui, I set the tapes to recycle in ten years, but something went wrong and my tapes are recycling at 10 days.
I have about 40 tapes that have already been labeled as recycled that I would like back in my library. What is the best way to go about recovering them ? The tapes are in a case on a shelf, so I know they haven’t been overwritten.
I also have about 20 tapes that will be recycled tomorrow if I don’t do something. I can use the CLI to change the access type to SECURED, and access to [~RECYCLE]. Is this sufficient to keep the tapes from being marked recycled and keep them usable for a restore opperation at a later date ?
Is there a method to modifiy the date a tape is scheduled to be recycled ?
