I’m running Vista Business 64 bit, and would like to be able to keep my WD settings on continuous backup; however, when it’s set to continuous backup, my computer hangs and the only way to ‘unhang’ it is to hard boot, which I don’t want to do! Is anyone else having this problem? If so, what can I do to keep my system running smoothly while MyBook is set to continuous backup? I’m totally frustrated and ready to ship this drive back!

Visit the Western Digital website and download the latest firmware version for your drive, this should solve the issue with your drive.
Nesvic…thank you for replying! I did this a few days ago, and just verified the firmware again, and it’s been up-to-date! Unfortunately, the issue still exists!
