I have backed up my system and the totals for the different areas (pictures, mail, etc.) do not match. The totals indicate that not all items were copied from the pc to the Passport. I called customer support and was told that backup was a constant process and by tomorrow morning they would match. The totals have not changed in the last six hours. Will they or did I get a song and dance?
I beleive in order to get the full potential of the software you must have the latest updates.
So make sure you have a firmware and software update.
If you are using Smartware it uses it’s own method and doesn’t backup all file types.
