Synology Backup to WD My Cloud possible?

Hi,

I have a Synology Disk Station DS214se provided by my workplace. I wanted to backup my data from the Synology to the WD My Cloud. Is this possible to do using something like rsync? I dont know enough about SSH so never dared to try it out in case something breaks. Also if it is possible, can i setup a job from the Synology to do incremental backups to the WD My Cloud?

Really appreciate any help or guidance.

That’s really more of a Synology question than a WD question…

But if the Synology can do backups via SMB/CIFS or FTP connections, then the answer is yes…
