I cannot find any Sync sofware for my Passport Elite for Windows 7…Without it my Forefox Favorites cannot be restored… Thus, the hard drive is only partially usable… Any suggestions?
Look at MS Downloads they have SyncToy for Windows 7. I don’t know if that is what you want. I never looked at the Sync Center in Windows 7 you might check that out too.

If you are looking for WD Sync, you are out of luck, this software is not Windows 7 compatible, not even compatible with a 64 BIT OS. If you need WD Sync and any of the data on the drive, your best option is to connect the drive in a computer that have a compatible OS:
Supported Operating Systems
- Windows 2000
- Windows XP
- Windows Vista
- Not compatible with Windows 7
Then, restore the data and manually copy the data to the external drive, this way you will always have access to it and will not depend of a software that has been discontinued.
