Switching RAID Levels and Torrent Client

I’ve got the 4tb model.

When I go to Storage → Volume and RAID Management → “Manage RAID” tab, I try to select the RAID 1 option (switching from 5), it gives me the following message:

Failed to create volume! System busy, unable to un-mount data volume.

I have tried resets, and a factory default reset, and tried changing the RAID level after that, but I always get that same problem. Any ideas or solutions?

Secondly, from what I gather, the torrent client was only included in the firmware that was rolled-back. Is this true? I also understand that this update is not poised to come out any time soon…

I wish I read these forums before I purchased my Sharespace. I was looking at a QNAP that went out of stock; I ended up buying this. Kinda regretting it now.

Also, where are the key config files stored? I briefly looked in via SSH but couldn’t find much.

Thanks in advance!

Regarding your main issue…

Try accessing it from a different PC. It sounds like something on your computer is trying to access the drive- likely anti-virus or similar software. Make sure not to map the second PC to the drive (access it by IP through a browser). If the issue persists let us know, but you should not still have this issue once this is done (Make sure the primary machine is off or fully disconnected from the network)
