For years I have my WD Book World Edition running 24/7 without any problem.
Recently I needed to replace the A HDD without any difficulty.
Currently I cannot connect to the WD Book World Edition be it through the IP- or system level (Windows 8.1)
In trying to restart the WD’s I can’t switch the unit off. Even though I keep the switch pressed for 5 secs the unit stays on.
Front light blinks 3 / 6" which basically indicates “Standby” modus.
How can I reactivate the drives ?
Simply by pulling the power cable seems a bit rude to me ?
