Switching b/w STEREO and OPTICAL OUT while movie is playing

Instead of working my way through the menu each time, I am looking for a way to swiftly switch between STEREO and OPTICAL OUT.

Alternatively, is there a way to jump right back into the playing movie from the (Audio)setup? That would be a big help already.

I have connected both headphones and a 5.1 sound system via Toslink splitter and I need the WDTV to decode the audio signal when I use my headphones.

Has anyone an idea? Thank you!

Hello,

I have only been able to switch from Stereo to Optical from the setup menu. However, there’s useful information on page #179 of the User Manual.
