Swapping World Book II drives

I can no longer access my World Book II because of an apparent corruption of the World Book root information. I am told the data is probably still intact but cannot be accessed unless the drives are attached directly to a PC where they might be accessed using Linux.
However I do have two World Books II’s.

Does anyone know if I might be able to temporarily swap the drives in the problem unit into the working one to get the data off before replacing them in the problem unit and undertaking a factory reset which deletes all data?

Hello,

That unit does not have RAID roaming. It might not work to get the data out of the unit.

See if you can get a data recovery software that works with network drive.
