Swapping HDDs from MyCloud Home Duo to Ex2 Ultra

Good day.
I have a My Cloud Home Duo 6TB (3TB each bay) and recently I got an empty Ex2 Ultra. The Home Duo is not dependable and have had numerous issues the past months. My question is can I swap the HDDs from HomeDuo to the new EX2 Ultra, format them and use them? Cheers
