Hi 
The subtitle file and the .flv file are both in the same folder with the same file name in my USB drive, but I only get the video on WD media player and no subtitles. On my PC, with VLC, subtitles play perfectly. Does anyone have the same problem? If that’s the case, could this issue be addressed in some later firmware version, please?

Probably not. As a workaround you could remux into an MP4 container.
