Subtitle in MP4 video files

Gentlemen,

I am converting my home video to MP4 format with the DateCode in the Subtitle track, however WD TV Live Hub does not recognize the subtitle.

I would appreciate recommendations on how to correct this issue.

I do not believe it is an issue with the HUB, however I would like to understand how subtitles need to be encoded in order for the HUB to recognize them.

The Hub may have issues playing back embedded subtitles.  Officially it supports the following subtitles formats: 

SRT, SUB, SMI, SSA, **bleep**.
