Subtitle delay option

Hi everyone,

I noticed that, during video playback with subtitle, if you click on the left and right cursor buttons, the text “subtitle: 100ms” or “subtitle: -100ms” appears on the screen, if you either click left or right.

At first I found it to be an interesting feature to sync the subtitle with the media file but unfortunately nothing changes to the subtitle sync.

Did anyone came across this too? How do you get it to work?

it does work. i was just using the subtitle sync feature.

sadly, the subs i had was for the same movie at 23.796 fps but my movie was doing a weird 24 fps.

so when i got it to sync at the beginning of the movie, by midway it was out of sync again…
