I’m looking for the best way to stream music through my windows 8 tablet from the WD my cloud while not connected to the same network. opening the music files in the cloud app pulls it up in the xbox player (which i don’t like) and only does one song at a time. windows media player/itunes don’t seem to be able to find the cloud when outside of the network. so is there a music player for windows 8 tablet that can stream music outside of the network in a way that makes sense?
Hello, have you tried changing the default program to open the music files? Also try mapping the drive manually from the wd2go.com website.
