Streaming movies from remote network share

Hi all,

I wanted to know how I could connect my Wd live to my synology box at home. I am able to do it with my old Wd live gen 1 but there is no way to enter the link then put in the user name and password… I have tried to look online and can’t seem to find anything. I have the ports and stuff forwarded And ready I just need to know how to get this new wdlive to connect to it. I just upgraded to the current firmware  as well. Any help is appreciated.

You can’t.  Nor could you on the Gen 1 (unless you were using hacked firmware.)
