If I´m using WD MyCloud app on my tablet I can view m2ts files, but I cannot search within the video or can select a specific time point (jump to 30st minute of the video).
If I am using MX player standalone this is possible. If I am using MX player within MyCloud app it´s not. So the problem seems to be the MyCloud app. Can you confirm this and what can I do to make a m2ts video file scrollable within its timeline ? In MP4 , VOB or MVK video files it´s also possible.

Olaf
Any file that has an internal structure that does not meet the criteria for “seek” in the My Cloud OS 5 mobile app will not have seek options displayed. This is not limited to M2TS files.
In my experience even without a MyCloud … m2ts and ts files are a hassle playing on a PC. So, what i do is to remux the m2ts to mkv
… will only take a few seconds and not alter the video or audio quality, and i’ve found transport streams (ts / m2ts) become seekable when remuxing into a mkv container.
