I think this started happening after the latest firmware update. If I unplug the WD Media player, I can connect to a share and play a movie, but if it sits after some time, on or off, I’ll just get the spinning arrow the next time I try to stream content. Anyone else have this issue? I switched network sources (i.e. using 3 different computers in the house) and I get the same results every time. I have to unplug the WD TV Live Media player and then plug it back in for it to work properly again.
I would suggest you reset the unit or replace the drive
