Could someone please please explain in clear and concise language how to set up My Cloud Ultra so I can stream music to my Android when I am away from home and if there are any suggested media player apps that are compatible, free or for purchase.

This is to inform you that as there is no option to stream media, you need to download and use in same network only.
If you wish to streaming remotely you need check with 3rd party softwares.
