Strange problem with flac file

Greetings.  I have a WD live in which I have been using to play my high resolution flac files.   I use a Hitachi life studio hard drive for my storage.  I’ve been able to download and plac flac files without incident up until this past week.  I download John coltran’s "My favorite things in Flac.  Its a 24 bit 192k file.  I have other files in this format that play just fine, but now when  the unit loads up, it simply cuts off.  I then go and delete My favoite things off the hard drive and then whala it loads up just fine.

So I upload the file back unto the hard drive hook it up to the WD live, and off it goes.  So then I hook the hard drive up to my lap top, access the file and it plays fine.  So for some reason the WD live does not like this particular file, and my question is why?

If anyone has any suggestions I could use the help.  The latest firmare is up to date, and ever other file plays accept this one.  Thank you,

jswillis73,

It is possible additional codecs for this particular file may not be supported by your Media Player. I would recommend using Media Info in order to obtain all related encoding information, and to compare the results with files able to be played.
