pc storage almost full due to number and size of pictures and movies. want to store them on WDMyCloud Mirror (back up I assume dealt with by other RAID?) only. how do I do this simply as a one off exercise?

Hi mike_court,
You can either manually (Copy & Paste) all the file to the my cloud or you can also create the automatic backup using WD Smartware. Please refer to the link given below for more information.

Thanks for your reply however I already use continuous auto back up, which works fine, however I note that if I remove a picture from a picture file on my pc it is also removed from my wd mycloud file! I’m not sure why it does this and am trying to find a way of ensuring my wd mycloud holds all my pictures (30gb) thus being able to keep them safe, and at the same time delete them all from my pc, thereby creating more space on my pc hard drive.
I find that when I copy a sample picture from my pc file it cannot be pasted into the wd mycloud folder on my pc (there is no drop down box available).
Your help to resolve this matter would be very welcome.
