Storage initialising

hi I have a dx4000 and the storage is initialising for 2 days and is at 35%. if I restart the unit will it reset to 0% or will it carry on from 25%?

If you do start>shutdown>restart, it should pickup where it left off. I would not recommend holding the power till it shuts down
