Stopped working on Mac works on Windows

My new WD 2TB drive was working fine.
I copied across files from my mac accessed it and it all worked fine.

I happened to attach an old seagate drive to the mac and all of a sudden the drive is not accessible from my Mac
it works fine on my Windows machine ??

Any ideas??

on running the diagnostics on the drive from my mac
i get the following message

“Attach a supported WD drive.”

The disk came up for a moment, after that I have not had much luck accessing the disk on the Mac.
Ps the version i have running is El Capitan 10.11.3.

I’ve tried another cable, please help

Hi, welcome to the community.

I would recommend you to connect it to the computer and take all the information out, once that’s done, you should perform a factory restore.
