Stop a particular folder being scanned for photos/media

Hi there.

Has anyone worked out a way to stop MyCloudHome from scanning right into a particular folder for photos so they don’t end up in the gallery?
For instance my music folders and audiobooks folder backups often have thumbnail album art jpegs and then these images appear in the gallery of photos.
I recall putting a .nomedia file into an andoid folder to stop them appearing in gallery so would like to be able to do the same on the MCH?

Any ideas?
