Stolen my passport ultra

My external drive was stolen (My Passport Ultra)
Is there a way of tracking it?
Is there a way of retrieving the data?sadly i forgot to register the serial number.

nope … it has no online or location functionality so it’s impossible to track .

nope … it’s physically gone and in the hands of thieves now.

you should have done 2 things when you got the drive

1. Password Protect your Data … which will prevent un-authorized viewing of your Data

2. Back Up all the Important Data on it … onto another Hard Drive (or “In the Cloud”) in case of Damage, Fire or Theft.
