I have been having countless problems with units hanging on mkv, avi, mp4 and m4v files when pausing or rewinding/forwarding…the blue spinning icon just starts and wont stop until you restart machine.
I am now using the previous firmware without any problems. Hopefully this will be addressed in upcoming firmware.
If you are having similar problem - use previous firmware and don’t update to most recent.
