setting up a new MyBook external drive on a laptop running XP.

smartware pro sorts all the files for a back up

but the back up tab will not light up to ready mode

home, settings, help tabs light up

back up and retrieve tabs not

suggestions?

Hello,

Try going to the “Home” tab and clicking on the external drive icon. This should make the other tabs available.
