Standby problem & My Cloud disconneted itself from network

I received my MyCloud device yesterday, After 24h in use I found two problems:

  1. The drive is always running, without getting in Standby (no flashing blue light - always blue)
  2. My Cloud disconneted itself from network (I have to disconnect the plug)

Are two bugs well known and will be fixed ASAP or should I send back the device in order to buy a other typ?

I do not working with the SmartWare.
I operate only with iPad devices. Do you thing the disabling of the MacBackup (time machine) function can solve the Standby problem as we’ll?

Possible, I’m not an iOS person so I couldn’t tell you for sure, but it is most likely that something is connecting to the MC to keep it from going into standby.
