SSH login wont work after update to version 4 firmware

Hello unfortunatley i was enable autoupdate on my device and it autoupdate the firmware.

I have 2 more users that access the device over SSH, they access only their shared folders.

Now they cannot log on, the Password is not accepted. I try to change the password with passwd username , but still canot login (the password was changed and you can log in trough web UI)

I still can log on with my root account.

Any Ideas ?

I’m pretty sure that wasn’t possible in ANY version without modifying configuration files.

The stock sshd_config file allows ONLY the root user to log in.

So, if you had previously modified that file, you’ll need to do it again (after any FW update, as far as I know.)

Hello, yes update was clear my previously modifications.

I add them again and now works fine.
