SSH deletes files after Reboot

I have ssh’d into the box to set up a openvpn config. when the device reboots it deletes all teh config files. Any ideals?

i am running firmware 1.05.36

I have seen some advanced Users experiencing the same behavior, and it’s mostly related to the device checking its OS for modifications.
