Ssd drive installation

I would like to install a ssd hd on my laptop which is currently on a wd scsi/ATA can i do this sorry but I am a noob at this so please be patient!!

It will not be possible.
The SSDs are SATA, they are of different technology, the motherboard would not detect it even with an adapter
