SSD Dashboard 2.0.1.0 install issue

Previous versions of the SSD Dashboard showed up in the Windows 10 program list. This latest version does not. Cortana can not find it. There is no shortcut created. If you don’t keep it on Hidden Icons, starting with each reboot, the only way to run it is to use the Dashboard installer to uninstall it, the install it again. This is not convenient…

I should add - If I knew the name of the executable - and where it was located - I would make my own shortcut.

Does this happen even if you re-install the latest version from scratch rather than updating the previous version?

I have gone through a couple of uninstall / install cycles now. No shortcut or Windows program entry. Cortana (program search) can’t find it either. I did find the executable under Program Files (x86)/Western Digital/SSD Dashboard and made my own shortcut - which works fine. Only the little piece of the install that registers the application is busted…

Here’s the path to the program:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Western Digital\SSD Dashboard

The file name is WDSSDDashboard.exe

Cheers !
