Speeding up dashboard

I noticed my web dashboard on MyCloud 2TB wss very slow but it seemed to become very fast and usable again when i attached a USB elements drive of same size. Explain? Also, do i have to keep it connected?

Can’t do backups though because safepoint doesn’t handle filenames with $ as i learned elsewhere, due to i think code 1100, so no point keeping elements connected except for speed boost.

Hi, I have no idea why connecting the Elements to the My Cloud speed the dashboard. However have you tried resetting the drive? Have you tried using a different browser?
