Solid red power LED

The power LED on my WDMyCloudEX2 is solid red within minutes of startup/reboot. It seems to be functioning properly, as I can edit and save files on it. The dashboard page says it’s Healthy, and the Firmware is up to date. The ethernet cable is securely connected to the EX2 and my router.

Any suggestions?

It seems that although it’s working locally, wd is having trouble accessing the internet.
You can check that connecting to you nas using ssh and then trying to ping any internet address

Tijuco, thank you for the suggestion! Please forgive my ignorance, but how do I do that? What would that tell me so I know there whether or not there is trouble accessing the internet? Then, what could be done to fix it?

Let’s say everything is working fine right now. Just go and turn off your router and wait.
You will see the red light go on. Unfortunately it’s too complicated to get to a solution just talking through the forum, but it seems that the problem isn’t your nas, but your network.
Try reconnecting your cables.
