Software installation failure

I have recently purchased a 2TB My Book Live which I am unable to install in my PC (Windows 7 64-bit). During the Installation Wizard, under My Book Live Discovery, the drive is found and the letter “U” is assigned. However, in the next step, “Install WD Quick View”, a message says: “Installation failed: This installation package could not be opened. Verify that package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify this is valid Windows Installer package. Error code: 1619.”

I would appreciate your help to be able to install the network drive and start to use it.

You don’t need quick view to install the drive

check if the drive is showing on the network and map it

you can download the installer for WD Quick View from WD’s website
