anyone know how to get around the rma process to a real human at WD? i cannot get anywhere after purchasing a WD Black NVME 1TB SSD that failed in less than 30 days from purchase.
It is recommended to return the drive to the place of purchase within the return window. If you are past their return time you can get an RMA for drive replacement.
It is past their return date. That 8s why I have been trying to return it to Western Digital. Did you even read through the notes before you replied to me?
I wouldn’t even bother dealing with any wd support. In my opinion they’re useless. I’m having a similar issue with my DOA 8 TB drive. Got the same canned response from “WD support staff”. Never mind that I purchased from WD direct. Just deal with the online RMA process, it’ll be way easier.
