Hello, my ? maybe confusing It’s regarding NVME drivers or power consumption optimization for this ssd. As I understand this WD uses SD nand flash, and controllers*? I picked this drive because it is advertised as consuming low power, staying cool, and being a decent value for laptop use. I’ve tried disabling AHCI, enabling Dev sleep and other ssd power saving features to no avail. Can someone also clarify if devsleep or disabling AHCI or w/e would be of any benefit when using only NVME? My power consumption seems higher with the sn550 compared to the samsung 970. The winraid forums seem to point to a fabric/universal driver to use. Any suggestions?
