Smoked Hard Drive

Hi all,
Would anybody know if I could get new drives if they burned? I just replaced my older Corsair 750W to a new EVGA 750W power supply, and once I started the computer, smoke came out of all my drives (2x1TB Black, Mushkin SSD and 2xDVDRW). I contacted EVGA and they won’t help with that. They will just provide me with a new PS.

That’s terrible. I think you should try EVGA again and ask for a higher level of support.

Not sure if you will be able to get a replacement board for the drives.

I sent them a few email and I am still getting the same answer. I asked them to send my request higher. We will see if somebody get back to me.
