Smbfs mount not working after firmware update

Just installed the mycloudOS5. Previously I had another device that mounted via smbfs. I am now getting an error when I try and mount the wd my cloud to my device. Unable to open connection : syserr = RPC struct is bad. This only started happening a after I did the update but it dis say my settings would all stay the same so I can’t understand what my issue is. Any help please
