Hello,

I wonder if the SmartWare software included with WD Passport Essentiel 1GB is compatible using an other external drive (not portable) ?

I have two LaCie 1GB externam drives connected on a extern SATA port and would like to know if i can use SmartWare on this drives ?

Thanks to let me know (i will be surpriced if the answer is YES !)

Sorry, Smartware is only compatible with WD drives.
