Smartware Update Locked My Drive!

I never had a password on this drive.

I rarely use this drive, but it has lots of backup data stored on it.

I updated smartware as a prompt told me there was a new version avaiable.

I am now locked out of my drive. You set a password on my data with the Smartware update.

I want you to tell me how to get back into my data.

Formating is NOT an option.

Why would you lock my data on a smartware update? What were you thinking with that sort of update?

I do have a ticket open. I did test it on another computer and it cannot be seen. I have reinstalled the software, tested with and without the software installed.
