Smartware Start Screen

The Backup tab on the initial Smartware screen is not highlighted.

Have your read all of the information provided plus what is under the Help tab and the User Manual? What have you backed up?

It will take a few seconds for it to show up.

 thanks for that. My Smartware screen is similar to the screen in your e-mail, but with the Backup tab greyed out. I've clicked on the Backup Source icon, but this has no effect.

@milliGna Another suggestion, if you are using Windows is, go to the Control Panel, click on Uninstall a program, scroll down to WD SmartWare, select it and then at the top click on Repair and see if that helps.
