Is it possible to use a drive locked with SmartWare on my WDTV live? Reason i ask it is because of the discounts on friday (Black Friday!) on this drive - I was thinking of picking one up, but dont wanna use it if it wont work with my live.

Awesome! I guess it would make sense to put a “light” password until WD decides to allow for keyboard support though - my current “regular” password is 14 characters long with letters, numbers, and symbols- would take awhile to type in with the remote.
