Smartware is it working

Hi,

I have read so much problem with the smartware. Too bad it can’t be use. Without it the My Book will become like normal external hdd outside there. WD should remove all the sales gimmick.

Just to hear if anybody successfully use SmartWare wiithout any problem? I’m curious why WD still bundle the software with the hdd.
