A previous user mentioned mirrioring folders, which sums up exactly what I need. I want to know that if I select a drive for backup, _ everything _ in the drive (or folder) was backed up, and not WD approved files.

Well, it may not be as pretty as Genie Timeline but the update is out and it works. It also doesn’t crash!!!
I was able to select EXACTLY what files I wanted/needed to backup including critical data in the APPDATA folders that the previous release didn’t address.
Thanks WD, this is a lifesaver.
Now if only we could chage the colours of the eye straining interface, but that’s a small thing.
The latest version of SmartWare allows for backing up of files and folders.
